Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for any retreat offered by Santuario Retreats. By completing your registration and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to everything below.

1. Who We Are

Santuario Retreats is a retreat company based in Antioquia, Colombia, offering immersive healing experiences for individuals and couples. For questions or concerns, contact us at [email protected].

2. Registration & Payment

Your spot in a retreat is confirmed upon receipt of your initial deposit or full payment. We offer the option to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your place. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the first day of the retreat.

Prices, availability, and program details are subject to change. We will always communicate any relevant changes to registered participants as early as possible.

3. Medical Intake & Right to Deny Participation

The safety and wellbeing of every participant is our highest priority. All registered guests are required to complete a medical and personal history intake form before their retreat begins.

We reserve the right to deny participation to any guest whose intake form reveals medical, psychological, or personal circumstances that we determine — in our sole and careful judgment — may put them or others at risk during the retreat experience. This includes but is not limited to:

- Undisclosed or contradictory information provided on the intake form

- Active psychiatric conditions that are contraindicated with plant medicine work

- Recent cardiac events or serious unmanaged health conditions

- Current use of medications that are contraindicated with the retreat's practices

- Any other factors that our facilitation team determines pose a significant risk

If participation is denied on these grounds, a full refund of any payments made will be issued. We understand this may be disappointing, and we will handle every situation with care, honesty, and respect. Our decision in these matters is final.

Providing false or incomplete information on your intake form voids your right to a refund and may result in immediate removal from the retreat without compensation.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Participants understand that the retreat and ceremonies offered at Santuario are not medical or psychological treatments and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Participants acknowledge that plant medicine ceremonies are traditional spiritual practices and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.

Participants are responsible for consulting their physician before attending if they have health - concerns.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life changes. Please read our refund policy carefully before booking:

- Your initial deposit is nonrefundable immediately upon booking.

- The remaining 50% balance becomes nonrefundable starting two weeks prior to the retreat start date.

If Santuario Retreats cancels a program for any reason, all registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.

No refunds are provided for late cancellations, no-shows or early departure from the retreat.

6. Health, Risk & Personal Responsibility

Participation in our retreats involves physical, emotional, and ceremonial activities that may be intense in nature. By registering, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily choosing to participate and that you take personal responsibility for your own wellbeing throughout the experience.

You agree to follow all guidance provided by the facilitation team, to communicate openly about your needs, and to respect the boundaries and experience of other participants.

Santuario Retreats, its facilitators, staff, and affiliated parties are not liable for any injury, illness, emotional distress, loss, or damage arising from your participation in a retreat, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Confidentiality

Participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding the personal experiences shared by other participants during the retreat.

This helps maintain a safe and respectful container for healing work.

8. Behavior Policy

Santuario maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, violence, taking any substances outside of the retreat offering(illegal drugs, alcohol, non-prescribed substances) and disruptive or unsafe behavior.

Participants who violate community agreements may be asked to leave the retreat without a refund.

9. Photos & Marketing

Santuario Retreats reserves the right to photograph, film, or record participants during the retreat for use in advertising and promotional materials across any medium. By registering, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images and footage for publicity and promotional purposes.
